All classes were reminded about the end of semester 1 which is two weeks away. Students were informed the last day to turn in missing/late work for the semester will be Wednesday, January 22nd.
7th Grade Math - Students continued to learn the Percent Equation. At the beginning of class the notes from yesterday were reviewed and each type of problem was worked out on the board to model the correct procedure for solving the percent equation dependent on which variable was missing; part, percent or the whole. Students were given a WS with the percent and whole and asked to find the part. HW Percent Equation WS - if not completed in class.
Pre-Algebra - Yesterday's HW (Pg 119 1-41 odd) was corrected in class and collected. Students were given the opportunity to ask questions on problems they did not understand and those problems were worked out on the board. Today's HW (Pg 119 2-42 even) was assigned and students were given 30 minutes in class to work on the assignment. HW Pg 119 2-42 even - if not completed in class.
