7th Grade Math - Yesterday's HW was corrected at the beginning of class. Together we reviewed the percent equation and discussed translating a word problem into a mathematical equation using key words such as "is" and "of". Two problems were worked together in class for examples and then students were given time in class to complete the assignment. Students were allowed to use calculators. Students will be given time to finish the assignment in class Monday but their HW is to translate each problem into an equations.
Pre-Algebra - Yesterday's HW (Pg 119 2-42 even) was corrected in class and collected. There were a few problems that seemed to cause some confusion so those problems were worked out in front of the class. Without any further questions the assignment was handed out and students were given 30 minutes in class to work on the assignment. HW WS 3-2 Practice B & Challenge - 1-15 on Practice B & 1-10 on the Challenge side
