7th Grade Math & Pre-Algebra - Students were given an activity where data was taken from the Men's Downhill ski competition at the Sochi Olympics.  The first part of the activity required students to convert kilometers per hour to miles per hour.   The second part of the activity required students to calculate rate/speed given distance and time.   Conversion constants and formulas were provided for students along with an example problem being worked out together in class.  NO HW.
