7th Grade Math - Students started a new lesson today, Area and Perimeter. To assess prior knowledge students took a short 10 question survey on Area and Perimeter using Chromebooks. Following the survey students were given a short review video to watch on Khanacademy and asked to complete some practice problems. The last 10 minutes of class was spent on discussing the survey. NO HW.
Pre-Algebra - Students started a new lesson today, Adding & Subtracting w/ Unlike Denominators. The first part of class was spend helping the students sign on to Khanacademy and select me as their learning coach. This enables me to monitor their progress in Khanacademy and see how they are doing on practice problems. Following the set-up, students were given a video to watch and practice problems to complete. NO HW.
