7th Grade Math - We continue to work on the Percent Equation formula and writing a mathematical equation given a word problem. Today we corrected the HW WS from last Friday. Following the correction students were asked to volunteer and write the equation they had for problems they missed, then those problems were worked out together as a whole class activity. Percentage WS #13 was handed out. Students were asked to write the equation for two problems and then share their equation with the class. Equations were compared and discussed to find the correct equation and then solve. HW finish 1a - 3b on WS #13 a total of 6 problems.
Pre-Algebra - The class began a new section from the textbook, Multiplying Rational Numbers. Rational numbers being mixed numbers, fractions, integers and decimals. The students were given a WS and asked to complete it based on their previous knowledge. Before the end of class answers were provided so students could ask questions on problems they answered incorrectly. The assignment was not graded. NO HW
